At Bog Dog, we believe dogs were made for adventure — muddy trails, campground weekends, beach days, and every wild moment in between. That’s why we create handcrafted tick collars designed to fit naturally into your dog’s outdoor lifestyle while still looking stylish enough for everyday wear.


Every collar is handmade in Canada with comfort, durability, and adventure in mind. We focus on creating natural alternatives that dog owners can feel good about using on their pets.

We currently offer two signature styles of tick collars:

EM Tick Collars:
Our EM Tick Collars are handcrafted using EM (Effective Microorganism) ceramic beads on durable paracord, paired with decorative silicone beads and finished with an adjustable clasp for a comfortable fit.

The EM ceramic beads naturally create an environment that helps repel ticks — with no chemicals or scents involved — making them a simple, low-maintenance option for everyday wear. Lightweight and comfortable, they’re perfect for adventurous dogs who spend lots of time outdoors.

To keep the EM beads active, the collar simply needs a quick refresh every 30 days by soaking it in water for about 20 minutes and allowing it to dry in the sun. With proper care, the collars remain effective for approximately one year before replacement is recommended.

Cedar Tick Collars:
Our Cedar Tick Collars are handcrafted using natural, unsealed cedar wood beads, which naturally give off a scent that ticks dislike. Because the cedar wood is left unsealed, it remains breathable and continues to release its natural aroma over time.

Each collar also includes lava stone beads designed to hold a few drops of our Bog Oil natural tick repellent for an added layer of protection when needed — especially during peak tick season or adventures through heavy brush and wooded areas.
